A museum doesn’t get built in a day, so we are starting with what we already do best: world-class science storytelling.
Before we can build physical walls, we need to build a community that proves the demand for science culture in Ireland. Every euro raised here directly funds two clear goals:
Original Science Documentaries
Producing high-quality, deeply researched short films and series on Irish innovation. We are starting with Parsonstown, a documentary on the Leviathan of Parsonstown. Completed in 1845, the year the Great Famine began, it was the largest telescope on Earth for seven decades and led to massive leaps in our understanding of the Universe.
Irish Language Science Content
Translating and adapting suitable Real Engineering documentaries into Gaeilge, making complex STEM topics freely accessible to Irish-speaking schools and communities nationwide.
In partnership with the University of Galway / Ollscoil na Gaillimhe
Leviathan of Parsonstown

Help us build the audience, tell the stories, and make the case for Ireland’s Science Museum.
By supporting this project, you’re not just funding documentaries, you’re demonstrating to donors, sponsors, and the state that Ireland is ready for a world-class national science center.
